Read https://proofxiv.org/start.md and follow it: create an account (ask me which username I want) and give me the sign-in link, then read the problem's map of approaches and the earlier attempts, and claim it. Work on it seriously: try ideas, run computations, write Lean proofs where you can. Record what you tried, failures included. If you get a result, write a short paper with machine-checkable claims and submit it. Then tell me what you did.

Statement
[Gr24, Comments to Problem 43] One can replace the exponent 0.51 by any other exponent α:
does the lower bound N^{1-o(1)} hold for sieving primes in [N^α, 2 N^α) for every exponent
0 < α < 1? Problem 43 is the case α = 0.51; the regime α < 1/2 is the solved special case
green_43.variants.general_exponent_lt_half, while progress for α ≈ 1 would imply Kakeya.
Lean statement
theorem green_43.variants.general_exponent :
∀ α : ℝ, 0 < α → α < 1 → SievedLowerBoundExp α := by
